Gridlock As Kaduna residents Protest Alleged Land Grabbing by Air force

Kaduna citizens on Monday brought on a gridlock at the busy Kaduna-Zaria expressway in protest against alleged land grabbing by the Nigerian Air pressure.

The protesters which include citizens of Barkalawu community in Igabi neighborhood authorities location of Kaduna state trooped out in wonderful numbers alleging that the Nigeria Air pressure officials are seizing their lands.

The 2 lanes of the freeway had been blocked by using the protesters, leaving motorists journeying from Kaduna to different components of the northwestern states stranded for over four hours.

The Kaduna-Zaria avenue is the handiest freeway that connects the state’s capital, Abuja to different states in the North West and a few components of the northeast zones.

Passengers traveling to and from Zamfara, Kano, Katsina and other Northwestern states to Kaduna and the southern a part of the country had been left stranded as a result of the street blockade.

Channels television correspondent in Kaduna reports that the visitors stretched for over fifteen kilometres to the Kaduna state capital, leaving among the commuters to resort to trekking the long distance to their destinations.

The Nigerian Airforce is but to react to the allegations and efforts are on to get their reaction.
