Supporters of Godswill Akpabio finally laid PDP to rest in Akwa Ibom

Godswill Akpabio, former minority leader of the senate, defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday.

During the mega rally to welcome Akpabio into the ruling party, some supporters of the senator displayed a mock coffin which had the colours of the PDP.

Inside the coffin was an object which laid like a corpse.
