The Executives of an Igbo Socio-cultural group in Rivers State, Nzuko Ndigbo yesterday paid a condolence visit to the family of Late Attorney General of Rivers State Barr Emmanuel Aguma.

In his condolence speech, the President General of Nzuko Ndigbo, Chief Bestman Ike stated that the group was in rude shock when the received the news of the death of Barr Emmanuel Aguma.

He said that Late Barr Aguma was a true socialite, a kind hearted man and a good brother to Ndigbo in Rivers State.

According to him, the contributions of Late Barr Aguma to Ndigbo in Rivers state will remain indelible which prompted Nzuko Ndigbo to identify with his family in this trying moment.

“Nzuko Ndigbo mourns with you in this period of your grief. Your father and brother played significant role in the lives of Ndigbo in Rivers state and we can not enumerate all his kind gesture to Ndigbo. He was an extraordinary Rivers man and we will surely miss him.”

Chief Bestman Ike concluded by admonishing the members of the family to emulate the exemplary life of their breadwinner and also prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased while asking God to grant the family the strength to bear the loss.

In their response, the younger brother to Late Barr Aguma, Mr Igo Aguma and the Chief Mourner, Mr Chima Aguma thanked the leadership of Nzuko Ndigbo for identifying with the family in this their period of grief.

The group presented different gifts to the family members according to their tradition.

Some of the leaders who visited the family includes the founder of Nzuko Ndigbo, High Chief Uchenna Okokoba, the president of the group, Chief Bestman Ike, Publicity Secretary, Mr Mr Felix Chikwendu, Youth Leader, Mr Ezeilo Franklin amongst others.
