Atiku's Emergence : A Necessary Evil

The 2019 presidential election in Nigeria is about to get interesting with Vice President Abubakar Atiku is set for a showdown with President Muhammadu Buhari in February, 2019.

Atiku Abubakar

I have to defile all the obstacles, because of the military worrisome disturbance of our people at Du, Dura, to make some remarks over the political state of the nation.

Many watchers of international politics have described the United Nations as a necessary evil. That's, despite it limitations, the system is very necessary for global peace building and peace keeping among other services it renders.

The PDP has chosen a good path. The party has conducted one of the most transparent primaries in the world.  New initiatives and perspectives introduced in the process made it to have a wonderful outcome void of rancour and conflicts.

All those close to me knew my analysis over PDP hopeful presidential candidate. I have told those that care to hear that he, Waziri Adamawa is match to the APC. Every other contestants in the PDP are qualified and merit the seat, but for the present state of events now, and for paucity of time, towards next election, Atiku is a go.

In view of many pundits, it know lion Vs lion, tiger Vs tiger, elephant Vs elephant, eagle Vs eagle and man Vs man. Sincerely, the Fulani factor is not an issue at all, after all, Fulani are Nigerians too and not all of them support killings and obnoxious happenings in the nation today. So therefore, whether Atiku is a Fulani or not, that is not a basis at all.

Emphatically speaking, the APC on liners were busy telling lies that Atiku shared dollars, kindly asked them if dollars wasn't shared in 2014 during the Lagos APC primaries that brought in Buhari.

In politics today, propaganda has failed. It's time for real issues not mere talks. Many of my friends have prophesied victory for the PDP, no doubt. But I want the PDP to look into these two points.

1. Who becomes his running-mate?

2. Who became his campaign director?

Note: with a good strategic team and a formidable campaign team, the PDP will win and takeover power in 2019.  As a political scientist, I have followed Atiku since 2015, he played a wise and safe politics. He for saw the future and played hide and seek while in the APC. He was very analytical in his muteness.

My concluding analysis: Atiku need more grassroots movement across the country now. His name is a household name already.

The PDP must put it house in order, they need unity. Like Akpabio said "he was with GEJ but his heart was for Buhari "the party must beware of betrayers.

This is the 4th time Atiku is contesting. And this is his first time since 2007 to get the PDP presidential ticket... As former vice president, he has a stake too. The battle again is between northeast and northwest, it going to be a good one.

He was betrayed in 2007 by his party and was elected on the 7th of October 2018...you can read between the lines. Finally, the PDP should know this, it's not yet uhuru yet... it's time for work.

I wish the president hopeful the best in his campaign. Congratulations to him, as he maybe given the chance to lead the nation. The APC should do less of propaganda and tackle issues. the should know that the PDP mean business.

The APC owe the world a successful elections like the one that brought them to power in 2015 at levels. Remember that Ekiti and Osun elections are been used as a standpoint epistemology to predict their ontology as party towards next election.
