Saraki urged the people to be calm and not engage in reprisal attack. The family residence of the Senate president, Bukola Saraki, in the Agbaji area of Ilorin has been attacked by hoodlums leaving 21 people injured.
The Punch reports that the attack took place on Sunday, January 13, as the hoodlums damaged 50 vehicles. It was also reported that Solagberu and Aliagan mosques were damaged as a result of the attack. Alhaji Olanrewaju Yusuf who is the president of Agbaji Development Association claimed the armed thugs shot into the air when they arrived.
He said a seven-year-old boy died as a result of the attack which he claimed was carried out by members of an opposition party.
