Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has described as false the statement of the governors of the Southeast that they did not invite the Nigerian army to carry out a military exercise – ‘Operation Python Dance’ which claimed the lives of many people in the South-East.
The Chairman of South East Governors and Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, yesterday explained that the governors never invited the military to the South East for the Operation Python Dance.
Umahi said, “South East governors never invited the Army nor were South East Governors informed of any of their operations on Python Dance until the operations were already started in the states.”
Reacting to the claim, Nnamdi Kanu asked: “SE Govs, if you knew nothing about Operation Python Dance 2, why did you proscribe IPOB in its wake?
“The same northern leaders instigating you to fight peaceful IPOB is busy negotiating with & financing their fellow Fulani bandits. Who is fooling who? Too little, too late.”
