The leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra(IPOB), Chief Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has prayed for the fallen IPOB members involved in the 2016/2017 Operation Python Dance, a military exercise in the community of Afara-Ukwu.
In a post on his official Facebook page “Tribute to the #Galant28 and all that fell on 14th, September, 2017.” Kanu said they were in defence of the true ideals of freedom”
He prayed their blood, the seed of Biafra freedom be watered members draw strength and courage until victory is assured.
Kanu instructed every members to observe a minutes silence by noon in their memory.
In his word “They went before us in defence of the ‘True’ ideals of freedom. And from their blood the seed of Biafra freedom is watered from their sacrifice we draw strength and courage to fight on until victory is assured for their sake.
Biafra shall be restored in our time.
“Every mortal flesh shall one day die but to us, they are immortals because they live forever in our hearts and shall dwell in the heart of every generation born to the sons and daughter of Biafra-never ever to be forgotten.
“History shall record that it was because of them that darkness never prevailed or ever light in the sacred land of the Ancients.
“Now until the end of time, We shall honour them.
“Stop and observe a minutes silence @ 12 Noon today 14th, September, 2019 as a mark of respect”.
