73 humans were confirmed dead and about 50 villages burnt following a renewed violence among the Hausa-Fulani and Yandang communities in Lau local government vicinity of Taraba kingdom.
The country Chairman of Miyetti Allah farm animals Breeders affiliation of Nigeria (MACBAN), Alhaji Sahabi Mahmoud, advised reporters on Friday in Jalingo that the hostilities, which started out on July 5, has claimed the lives of greater than 23 of his participants.
He said that over three,000 displaced Hausa-Fulanis, particularly ladies and kids, who fled the area, are presently taking shelter at the Muslim Council Secretariat in Jalingo and different neighbouring neighborhood government regions.
