Advice To Pete Edochie

ADVICE TO PETE EDOCHIE

Nna'anyi Pete Edochie please sir respect yourself, do not dare IPOB. We love you as a cultural icon, role model, good actor and somebody who speaks fluent Igbo. You got your facts wrong on Igboland being landlocked and we merely corrected you sir. Igboland is not landlocked because UBANI (Bonny) and Opobo are Igbo people not Izon as we were deceived to believe until IPOB came.

Whoever in Ireland shot the video that angered you sir did a very good job. Any Igbo elder who thinks Igboland is restricted to 5 south-east states stand to be corrected. It's a shame some of our elders that should know better are being tutored by this fearlessly vibrant generation.

Your support for the traitor Nwodo who along with Ike Ekweremadu superintended Operation Python Dance that cost so many lives will put you into trouble with Biafrans. Those who are close to you must caution you on this issue. Sir, before you can pontificate on reciprosity of respect as obtains in Igbo tradition, you need to first undergo what parents of victims of Operation Python Dance endured, the pain of the loss of a loved one.

Had you lost your first son to Nnia Nwodo's treachery will you still regard him as an Igbo leader worthy of respect? Next time Sir, please choose your words very carefully. Some of us in IPOB are older than you.

The era of condoning or celebrating mediocrity in our land because its coming from an older person is over for good. If you claim you are old but cannot defend your children then you are not a father, you are an Efulefu. Respect is earned not given, respect is reciprocal.

You are our hero and cultural icon, you will always have our admiration and respect forever but please don't defend traitors or dabble into subjects that are above your station. Biafra is our only hope, anybody toying with it will be destroyed beyond recognition.

Daalu nna'anyi ukwu

Breaking : EFCC Mounts Surveillance For 10 People From South East Who Are Involved In 3 Billion US Dollars Scam

MASTER REPORTERS GLOBAL NEWS

Breaking the news from around the globe.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says it has mounted surveillance for 10 of the 78 Nigerians from the South-East, allegedly involved in the 3 billion US dollar scam. The Head, Enugu Zonal Office of the commission, Mr Usman Imam, disclosed this on Wednesday in Enugu while briefing newsmen on the activities of the commission in the past eight months. It would be recalled that the US Department of Justice had indicted 80 persons, including 78 Nigerians, in the multi-billion dollar fraud. Imam said that the anti-graft agency was seriously working with the scoop at its disposal and had placed surveillance on the suspects.

He gave the assurance that the suspects would be arrested and prosecuted “in order to prove to the world that such crime does not represent our values”. He said that the commission had the legal backing to prosecute the suspects in line with international treaties. “There is a mutual treaty between Nigeria and the USA. We will arrest them and if need be extradite them to the USA,” Imam said.  He said that the alleged offence was multi jurisdictional “because the stages leading to the crime was either initiated in Nigeria or the proceeds brought to the country”. He said that it was unacceptable to see parents enjoying ill-gotten wealth of their children, who they knew had no serious means of livelihood.

“Such also applies to the clergy and traditional rulers who rather than question suspiciously acquired wealth not only attribute it to God, but bestow titles on such individuals. “We assure Nigerians of our commitment to ensuring a better Nigeria so we warn looters and fraudsters about the consequences of their actions,” Imam said.

They also set up barricades around the complex, compounding the traffic situation along the ever-busy expressway. Bala El-Kana, spokesman of the Lagos state police command told newsmen that he could not give details of the attack.

Don't Mind The Rascals, Buhari Is Making Nigeria Proud Abroad - Adesina

MASTER REPORTERS GLOBAL NEWS

Breaking the news from around the globe.

President Mohammadu Buhari’s media aide writes more on the TICAD7 trip to Yokohama, Japan.

The expository posts, which has fared to its Part 3 on theme “Japan File with Femi Adesina” with brand title “THE GOOD NIGERIANS OF JAPAN”, gave details on how the Afrcan Conference in Japan has transpired.

Adesina gave insight from Nigerian illegal operators Abroad, to hard working Nigerians, how President Buhari met with ones protecting Nigeria’s value at all cost and looked away others who he described as “rascals”.

The post on his Facebook wall reads:

Sure, there are some Nigerian rascals abroad. But every country has its share of deviants, both at home and abroad. Not all Nigerians in the Diaspora are crooks, though some drag the country’s image through the mud. Not all Nigerians in foreign land are irreverent, though some funny characters exist outside our shores. We have seen some of them in action this week.

There are Nigerians of sterling character, both at home and abroad. They can stand and hold their own with the brightest and most decent in any part of the world. President Muhammadu Buhari met with some of such on Thursday, which was day four of our stay in Yokohama, Japan, where the Nigerian President and his team are attending the Seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 7).

Chairman of our Diaspora Commission, Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, described members of the Nigerian community in Japan, who met with the President, as “some of the brightest and best Nigeria has produced.” And so they were.

But permit a brief digression, before we focus on the good Nigerians in Japan, as opposed to some less than decent ones we had seen in previous days.
Thursday was a full day, in which there were a number of plenary sessions and presentations. Our President spoke at the one on Public-Private Business Dialogue, in which he reviewed Nigeria-Japan relationship in recent times, and then submitted:”In view of the ongoing reform programs of our government, Japanese investors are invited to invest in the following priority sectors in Nigeria, namely; power and renewable energy, petrochemicals and gas, maritime (shipping and ports), automobiles, mining, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, ICT and railways.”

Another good Nigerian, and business icon, Mr Tony Elumelu, Chairman of United Bank for Africa (UBA) and Heirs Holdings, equally delivered a keynote address at the Official Business Forum, hosted by Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO).

Here are nuggets of his presentation:
-Private sector is the new oil of the African continent. Africa is rich with investment opportunities, but to exploit them, public sector must work in alignment with the private sector.
-There is urgent need to transform the continent through African-led solutions.

-Empowering African youths will unleash potentials of the continent, and provide sustainable solutions to problems of illegal migration.

-Nothing fosters industrialization faster than bilateral trade relationships. With Africa’s youth demographic boom, the continent will become the world’s greatest source of talent soon.

Of course, Elumelu should know. His UBA has presence in 20 African countries, as well as in New York, Paris and London. His Heirs Holdings, a growing investment holding company, employs over 30,000 Africans.

President Buhari also Thursday held bilateral meetings with Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, as well as the European Commission.
Back to the good Nigerians!

They came under three auspices. NIDO Asia, led by Professor Ejiogu Emenike, Nigerian Union in Japan, with Nnaji Kennedy Fintan as President, and Nigeria Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Japan, headed by Engineer Ochade Osakwe.

The group was made of academics, scientists, economists, industrialists, businessmen, and a bishop.

Bishop Adebayo runs a church with membership in excess of 22,000. He has been in Japan for about 30 years, married to a Japanese woman, with whom he has-wait for it-seven children. Go ye into the world and multiply, replenish the earth and subdue it, the Good Book says. Bishop Adebayo has obeyed both the letter and spirit of the commandment. He has shown how prolific Nigerians can be.

Kennedy Nnaji runs a factory that recycles raw metal, does business with many countries, and he has created an information app that he says “will transform Africa very soon.” He has lived in Japan for 27 years, married to a Japanese, who accompanied him to the meeting with their young son.

Professor Ejiogu Emenike has been resident in Japan since 1990. He is an expert in Industrial Electronics, Power Devices, and New Energy Systems.

More >>>  Atiku is now IPOB spiritual leader – Joe Igbokwe roars

Back home in Nigeria, he is founding director of Laboratory of Industrial Electronics, Power Devices & New Energy Systems, recently engaged in the design and fabrication of megawatt-range 100% local content waste-to-electricity conversion systems as a domestic solution to the Nigerian power problem.

Confidently, he told President Buhari: “We have comparative advantages in human capital development, which we are trying to bring back to Nigeria. Any problem that science and technology can solve, we are able. We can help Nigeria in areas of need.”

Prof Emenike last year won a World Bank award for energy development, for Nigeria.

Engineer Ochade Osakwe is President of Nigeria Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Japan, and under his leadership, the chambers has attracted many investors to Nigeria.

Christopher Ariri from Edo State, has been in Japan for 28 years. A very successful businessman, he is married to a Japanese, and they have two daughters.

What shall we say of Goke Dokun, Idowu Ayodeji Peter, Dr Sam Ogbonna Onyisi (mni), Dr Fred Adebayo, Ikenna Ariwodo, Charles Nwokeji, Shonde Samuel, Brite Eguavoen, Engr Antonio Okpara, Charles Owie, Dr Fatima Joshua, and many other accomplished Nigerians in Japan.

Good ambassadors they are, and a delighted President Buhari told them:
“There are Nigerians in the Diaspora that are giving us a bad name by engaging in criminal activities. These Nigerians are a minority, they do not represent the values of our country, and I plead with them to change their ways.

“I am personally very happy that there are millions of Nigerians all over the world, like you here, who are truly making us proud.”

Beautiful!
On a final note, President Buhari has made many appearances in Japan, spoken at two events, will speak at another on Friday, yet one sees comments by cynics and skeptics on social media, saying he’s not in Japan. They say they want videos of where he is speaking, before they are convinced. As if that is not on Nigerian television stations yet, NTA and Channels, who are here with us. Give them videos, they ask for another harebrained thing. Let me borrow the words of Jesus Christ to answer them:
“It is an evil and adulterous generation that asks for a sign. And no other sign shall be given them, except the sign of Jonah.”

President Buhari has been making Nigeria proud in Japan. To those who believe, no explanation is needed. But to those who don’t believe, no explanation is possible.
We can only say good luck to them.

Breaking: Inspector General Of Police Ordered The Arrest Of All Shi'ite Leaders

MASTER REPORTERS GLOBAL NEWS

Breaking the news from around the globe.

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, at the weekend, ordered all the Police formations nationwide to commence the immediate arrest of all identified leaders of the outlawed Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, otherwise known as Shi’ite.

The directive was contained in a signal from the Force Headquarters to all State Police Commands and Zonal Headquarters dated August 30, 2019, which directed immediate strict compliance.

While directing the immediate dismantling of all the structures of the disbanded group nationwide, the IGP declared that Force under his watch would not allow the Shi’ite members to violate the proscription of the sect by the court.

The IGP blamed group for the July 22 riot during which the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of operations, Federal Capital Territory Police Command, Umar Usman and a youth corps member, Precious Owolabi, were killed.

According to the signal, “As you are aware that this necessitated the setting up of a special investigation team of inquiry. The team had gone far in its investigations.

“You will also recall that given the odious activities of the movement, the Federal Government obtained an order proscribing the group.

“NIGPOL FORCID directs you ensure that identified leaders of the group and their structures are dismantled and their activities contained.

“You are to inform me of your action for discreet investigation and possible prosecution of violators of the proscription order. Treat as very important.”

The police had earlier arrested 54 Shi’ite members after the July 22 violent clash between force and the IMN members in Abuja.

The Shi’ites were protesting the detention of their leader, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky who had been in the custody of the Department of State Services for over three years.

The Force Public Relations Officer , FPRO, Frank Mba, a Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP, could not be immediately reached when contacted as his phone was put off.

However, a very Senior Officer at the Force Headquarters, Abuja, confirmed the development to Tribune Online, saying, the directive became necessary in the public interest and declined further comment.

However, the Shi’ites spokesman, Musa Ibrahim, said the leadership was aware of the IGP’s order, adding that a statement would be issued on Sunday.

I Pray In That Mosque That You Demolished - Asari Dokubo Attacks Gov Wike

I Pray In That Mosque That You Demolished - Asari Dokubo Attacks Gov Wike

MASTER REPORTERS GLOBAL NEWS

Breaking the news from around the globe.

Alhaji Mujahid Asari Dokubo

The founder of the Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force, Asari Dokubo, has countered the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, over demolition of a mosque in the state.

Mr Dokubo said the governor actually demolished the mosque.

Mr Wike came under fire recently for allegedly ordering the demolition of Trans-Amadi Central Mosque in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

The governor immediately denied the allegations, saying it was a hoax as there was no mosque built on the site.

But Mr Dokubo, who described the governor’s action as dastardly in a video circulating on social media, said the governor was lying as there was existing mosque at Trans-Amadi, which Mr Wike demolished.

“I am a member of the congregation of the Trans Amadi Central Mosque. That is where I pray with my family.

“I alone have 21 children, but I live with 59 children of other people. The bulk of them prays.

“Wike claiming that there was no mosque, is a lie. He is lying and you know it, Wike you are lying. If there was no mosque why did you go there? We legally acquired the land for the mosque from Dr Sotonye Amadi.

“The Christian group acquired their own part of the land and built their own churches, but he did not demolish their churches.

“Why did you and your brother, Rotimi Amaechi, singled out our mosque to demolish and to prevent us from building. The person who acquired the land for the mosque, is an Okrika Ijaw man and this land was acquired legally from Chief Dr Edward Sotonye Amadi.

“Why is this mosque a problem to you? The first signatory to this agreement for the transfer of title like I said, was an Okrika Muslim, Alhaji Ali Ibiorika. I was a member of the congregation,” Mr Dokubo added.

Mr Dokubo also countered the governor that Rivers is not a Christian state, saying Muslims are law-abiding citizens in the state.

“Which Rivers Muslim has killed anybody or burnt any church? Which Rivers Christian has been assaulted badly. Name them and bring them so that we can shame them. Islam is bigger than you and there is nothing you can do about it,” he added.

Breaking : Dozens Kidnapped As Gunmen Attacks Katsina State

MASTER REPORTERS GLOBAL NEWS

Breaking the news from around the globe.

Armed gunmen kidnapped dozens of women and children in a raid on a remote village in northwest Nigeria, officials and residents said Thursday.

Around 100 assailants on motorcycles stormed into Wurma village in Katsina state late Monday, seizing local residents and looting homes.

“Initially 42 people were abducted but eight managed to escape from their captors and returned home,” Jabir Tsauri, the district political administrator, told AFP.

Thirty-three women and children and one adult male were still missing, he said.

“The bandits have started making contacts with families of the kidnapped victims asking for ransom,” Tsauri said.

Wurma resident Sada Kabir told AFP the attackers moved door-to-door looting “everything they could lay their hands on”, including livestock, food and clothing.

“They left with everything, including condiments and matches. They left nothing for us,” he said.

Northwest Nigeria has seen a surge in kidnappings, cattle rustling and violence that the government blames on groups of armed bandits.

Local residents have often formed vigilante groups in a bid to defend themselves.

The gunmen maintain camps in Rugu forest which straddles Katsina, Zamfara, Kaduna and Niger states.

Last week 16 people were killed in assaults on four remote villages in Katsina state near the border with Niger.

Breaking : Federal Govt Closes Nigeria's Border With Benin Republic

MASTER REPORTERS GLOBAL NEWS

Breaking the news from around the globe.

President Muhammadu Buhari has attributed the partial closure of Nigeria’s border with Benin Republic to the massive smuggling activities, especially of rice, taking place on that corridor.

The Nigerian leader gave the reason during an audience granted his Beninois counterpart, Patrice Talon, on the margins of the Seventh Tokyo International Conference for African Development (TICAD7), in Yokohama, Japan on Wednesday, Channels Television reports.

President Buhari in a statement through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, expressed great concern over the smuggling of rice, said it threatened the self-sufficiency already attained due to his administration’s agricultural policies.

According to him, “Now that our people in the rural areas are going back to their farms, and the country has saved huge sums of money which would otherwise have been expended on importing rice using our scarce foreign reserves, we cannot allow smuggling of the product at such alarming proportions to continue.”

The Nigerian President said the limited closure of the country’s western border was to allow Nigeria’s security forces develop a strategy on how to stem the dangerous trend and its wider ramifications.

Responding to the concerns raised by President Talon on the magnitude of suffering caused by the closure, President Buhari said he had taken note and would reconsider reopening in the not too distant future.

He, however, disclosed that a meeting with his counterparts from Benin and Niger Republics would soon be called to determine strict and comprehensive measures to curtail the level of smuggling across their borders.

Earlier, President Talon had said he called on the Nigerian President as a result of the severe impact the closure of the Nigerian border was having on his people.

President Buhari also received in audience, President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa during which issues of common bilateral relations especially, the killings of Nigerians in South Africa, were discussed. The matter will be further examined during the Nigerian leader’s official visit to Pretoria in October 2019.

Abba Kyari ,Buhari’s Chief of Staff using police against – IPOB members

Abba Kyari ,Buhari’s Chief of Staff using police against – IPOB members
By Seun Opejobi

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Wednesday, accused President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, CoS, Abba Kyari of using the police to make “outlandish and unsubstantiable allegations” against its members.

IPOB claimed that Kyari and others were using the police to divert attention from the alleged crime of stealing the mandate of the people.

The group said this while reacting to the recent arrest of its members by Nigeria Police Force in Delta State.

In a statement by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful, IPOB said: “It is very sad and gravely disappointing that Nigerian Police Force in Delta State, that epitome of corruption and evil, have taken time-off from their usual extortion on check-points and daily killings of innocent civilians to once again turn their murderous attention to IPOB. Their well publicised lies about alleged police station invasion by IPOB in Asaba yesterday is so ludicrous that only a natural born liar like Lai Mohammed and possibly a rabid anti-Biafra deranged fool can believe such hogwash.

“Perhaps the Inspector General of Police and some Fulani elements within the Nigerian Police Force is seeking to relieve the pressure Jubril Al-Sudan the Buhari impostor is undergoing at the election tribunal in Abuja, where we understand he has been compelled to tender what we all know to be a non-existent WAEC result. Whoever concocted this silly allegation about IPOB invading a police station and sold it to the Nigerian press must be steeped in the same lying tradition as Lai Mohammed.

“The truth of the matter is that Delta State IPOB family members were attacked on Tuesday April 16, 2019 during a peaceful procession in Asaba the capital of Delta State. For those who may wish to know, Asaba is a Biafran town and the birthplace of Col. Achuzie, one of the great heroes of the Biafra-Nigeria war. Therefore, we IPOB have every right to exercise our constitutionally guaranteed right to peaceful assembly. At no time did we IPOB or anybody for that matter invade any police station in Asaba. All the lies the Delta State Police Command concocted is purely to justify the killing of innocent people during the procession.

“If those that issued this gravely misleading and injurious allegation against IPOB are hoping to deflect attention from their crimes then they are mistaken. From Delta State Police Commissioner to the DPO in charge of the station that opened fire on unarmed Biafrans- killing and injuring many in the process, all will pay dearly for the death of those they killed and injured. There will be retribution.

“No amount of sponsored lies against peaceful IPOB will exonerate these lying and corrupt policemen in Asaba. The time of reckoning will surely come.

“Those unelected shadowy figures in Aso Rock led by Abba Kyari, those that recruited Jubril Al-Sudani, should face their fate at the election tribunal. They should stop using the police to make outlandish and unsubstantiable allegations against the noble IPOB family in order to change the news headline with the hope of diverting public attention away from their crime of stealing the mandate of the people.”

An Italian man, Leopoldo Scalici, allegedly murdered a Nigerian prostitute

Another sad news coming in from Italy......

An Italian man, Leopoldo Scalici, 41, has been arrested for allegedly murdering a Nigerian prostitute, identified as Benedicta and dumping her body in a ditch.

According to Italian website, Modena Today, Scalici approached Benedicta on the streets of Modena Nord for sex over the weekend.

Benedicta was reportedly killed after the duo had had sexual intercourse and an argument had broken out, which led to Scalici hitting the Nigerian prostitute with a heavy object on the face and head.

Where do we go from here?
